Vijay Mallya is rumoured to be marrying his long-term girlfriend Pinky Lalwani, according to various media reports. She is a former air hostess and is rumored to be his current girlfriend. The couple was recently spotted together at a celebration in mid-March. They allegedly started dating in 2011 when Ms Lalwani was hired as a flight attendant in Kingfisher Airlines. As per unconfirmed media reports, Mr Mallya and Ms Lalwani were frequently spotted together afterwards. It is said that the air hostess is known to have been supporting Mr Mallya even in his tough times. She was also present with him during his extradition case hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court in London.
Mr Mallya was earlier married to Sameera Tyabjee for two years until 1987. Following this, he was married to Rekha Mallya since 1993. He has three children from his two marriages, Siddharth, Leanna and Tanya.
So far, there is no official confirmation on the news. Mr Mallya, who is regular on micro-blogging site Twitter has not updated the same on Twitter also.
Mr Mallya is currently a fugitive from India on charges of fraud and money laundering relating to Kingfisher Airlines for loans that amount to Rs 9,000 crore. The tycoon has been on a self-imposed exile in the UK since he left India on March 2, 2016.
