Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo 'demands Mohamed Salah over Eden Hazard deal'
CRISTIANO RONALDO does not want Real Madrid to sign Eden Hazard and he would prefer Mohamed Salah to rock up at the Bernabeu this summer, according to reports.
Real are planning to overhaul their underperforming squad off the back of a disappointing season which has left the Champions League as the only trophy they can win.
And alongside a whole host of high-profile departures, a cluster of big names are expected to make their way to Madrid.
Hazard has been heavily backed to swap Chelsea for Real when the transfer window opens again this summer.
But the latest claims from Spain indicate Cristiano Ronaldo is opposed to Florentino Perez striking a deal for the 27-year-old.
According to Don Balon, Ronaldo thinks Real Madrid should approach the transfer market as if Marco Asensio will be a starter next season.
And that means they should not sign anyone who would reduce his first-team opportunities, which Hazard would do.
Ronaldo apparently believes Asensio can prove his quality if he gets enough minutes at the Bernabeu.

The Portuguese is said to be happy for Real to raid one of Chelsea’s rivals to sign Gareth Bale’s replacement though.
And the player he is eager to have join him at Real is Salah, who’s been a revelation for Liverpool this season.
Salah has scored 35 goals operating predominantly from the right wing since joining Liverpool from Roma.
And that form seems to have convinced Ronaldo that the 25-year-old can take the departing Bale’s place in Real’s starting XI.
