BJP today hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state alleging that she is not doing her Constitutional duties.
Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, senior party leader and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, instead of discharging her duties, Mamata Banerjee is in Delhi to form a third front.
He said, Ms Banerjee should first bring the law and order situation to normalcy and then do politics. Mr Javadekar said, Bengal is burning and Ms Banerjee did not do anything to contain communal violence. He said, when people were celebrating Rama Navami peacefully, her party workers attacked them and even the police.
BJP leader Mukul Roy alleged that the war of social harmony is being broken in Bengal due to her appeasement policy.
