Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today administered oath to newly appointed Raman Bahl as the chairman of the reconstituted Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB).
Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh conducted the proceedings of the swearing-in-ceremony, an official said.
Prominent amongst those present were Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana K P Singh, former Rajya Sabha Member H S Hanspal, besides family members, friends and relatives of Raman Bahl.
The notification for Bahl's appointment was issued by the personnel department last week.
The post of PSSSB chairman fell vacant after the abolition of the 11member subordinate services selection board in February this year.
