Man hangs self on University of Mysore campus

MYSURU: A 37-year-old man hanged himself from a tree inside Manasagangotri campus of University of Mysore. Police identified the deceased as Manjunath, a resident of Paduvarahalli. He hanged himself from a tree near the physics department in the campus on Monday night.

Morning walkers noticed Manjunath's body and informed Jayalakshmipuram police.


Police said Manjunath was working in a private company in Hebbal and had taken the extreme step due to a family dispute.
