A second man has been arrested in a break-in at the Foxboro, Massachusetts, home of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski on Super Bowl weekend, authorities said Tuesday.
Eric Tyrrell, a 28-year-old Foxboro man who was wanted on warrant, was taken into custody Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m., according to a news release from Foxboro Police Chief William Baker.
Tyrrell’s bail was set at $10,000, says the release. The arrest warrant for Tyrrell accused him of two counts of receiving stolen property.
On Friday, police arrested another Massachusetts man, 31-year-old Anthony Almeida, 31, of Randolph, and charged him with breaking and entering nighttime, malicious destruction of property and two counts of receiving stolen property, according to an announcement on the department's Facebook page.
A third man, Shayne Denn, 26, of Tewksbury, is still wanted in the case.
Police have said previously that the suspects took items from Gronkowski's Foxboro home, including an Apple watch, a Rolex watch, two 19th-century rare coins and firearms.
Officers have recovered the watches and coins, according to the news release, but not the guns and some other items.
