BMW India showcased the new X3 at the Auto Expo recently and now the production of this luxury SUV has kicked off at the company’s Chennai facility, making it the eighth model that BMW locally produces in India – the others being the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1 and the BMW X5. The new X3 will officially be launched on the 19th of April 2018 and we are expecting it to be priced rather competitively as it will go up against the Audi Q5 and the Volvo XC60.
