Over 50,000 qunitals of mustard procured by Hafed

Over 50,000 quintals of mustard, at the rate of Rs 4,000 per quintal, has so far been procured by HAFED in Haryana, a said here today.

Similarly, purchase centres have been established at Bhattu Kalan in Fatehabad, Heli mandi, Farrukh Nagar and Sohna in Gurugram, Bas, Lohari, Uklana and Hisar city in Hisar.

In addition, these centres have also been set up at Jhajjar, Matanhail, Gharaunda, Ateli, Kanina, Mahendragarh, Narnaul, Satnali, Bawal, Kosli, Rewari, Jind, Taoru, Meham, Kalanuar, Rohtak, Sirsa, Dabwali, Ellenabad, Kalanwali, Kheria and Chopta, he said.

He said that adequate arrangement of procurement has been done.

As per the directives issued to the authorities, the officers would ensure that farmers did not face any trouble, he said.
