PhD programmes
The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi, invites applications for its PhD programmes in multiple research areas of five major disciplines — Computational biology (CB), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Mathematics (Maths), Social Sciences (SS). The course will offer an attractive stipend of Rs 27,000 per month in the first year, up to Rs 30,000 per month in second and fourth year.
Eligibility: Candidates in the final year of their programmes and who expect to complete their qualifying degree requirement in current academic session are also eligible to apply for admissions.

Important dates: The last date for submission will be April 1, 2018, till 5 pm. Candidates can apply only through the online application portal. There is no application fee for PhD programme.
Selection process: Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which may be supplemented by a written test, if necessary. The institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records and statement of purpose. The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/ or interview.

PG IN PUBLIC RELATIONS
School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe) invites application for its Post Graduate Programme in Public Relations for 2018-19. The 10-month programme starts from July 15, 2018, and is designed to cover both fundamental and advanced aspects of Public Relations (PR) which includes brand management, campaign planning, media relations, strategic storytelling, client servicing and business development.
From case studies and live projects to learning on campus and in PR firms, SCoRe offers candidates a complete overview of the PR and communications discipline to make them ready to hit the ground running. Once enrolled, the candidates will get a chance to be a part of some India’s biggest communications conferences and learning platforms, including PRAXIS – the world’s largest PR summit.
Eligibility criteria: The eligibility to apply for the programme is graduation in any discipline. Students awaiting final year results are also eligible to apply.
Selection process: The admission process will entail an online application followed by an entrance test and an interview.
Important dates: Applicants can choose to appear for the entrance test on May 26, 2018. The shortlisted candidates for interviews will be invited for an interview in June. The final list of selected students will be released on June 20, 2018.

Interior design

PG in communication
The Delhi School of Communication (DSC) invites applications for its Post Graduate Programme in Communication (PGDPC). This integrated programme awards PGDPC (Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Communication), along with a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA JMC). The programme also leads to the awarding of two short-term certifications from the Media and Entertainment Skill Council of India.
The DSC programme covers all the relevant subjects and three specialisations, namely Advertising and Entertainment; Marketing and Digital; Public Relations and Journalism.
Students are provided internships and apprenticeship for up to six months in allows them to earn attractive stipends alongside valuable work experience.
During the course, students can also avail of scholarships to the tune of Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

Selection process: For admission to DSC, students have to clear either the MAT/ CAT examination or DSC’s Internal Admission Test which is of one and a half hours and focusses on reasoning, logic, and creative writing skills, in addition to basic knowledge of Advertising and Media. After that, candidates need to take a half an hour Psychological Test, designed to assess a candidate’s creative writing skills and emotional quotient. This year, both the Internal Exam and Psychological Test are available online. Personal Interview is the final step towards obtaining admission to PGDPC.
