"The sky will remain clear throughout the day like it was in the morning," an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 53 per cent.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 33.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
