In a shocking incident, a road accident victim died after his ambulance driver hung him upside down, reportedly in a rage after he urinated inside the van.

A video of the incident reported from Kerala's Thrissur district has gone viral. The video shows the elderly man helplessly lying upside down on a stretcher, while he is being taken out of the ambulance to be admitted in the hospital. The man later died.

The victim, who is yet to be identified, met with a road accident in Palakkad from where he was rushed to a private hospital and then transferred to another in Thrissur.

The local police have arrested the driver and have registered a case under IPC Section 334 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others).
