Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted on his way home from the hospital, after a sudden hospitalization on Tuesday.

"Thank you all for your concern! I'm on my way home, I'm sure a bit of rest and hot stuff will make things right. Good night," Netanyahu wrote on the social media platform, according to a translation of his post.

Netanyahu was suffering from a fever and coughing, before being rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening. A spokesperson for the prime minister later confirmed he had been taken to the hospital for examination and later treated for a mild upper respiratory tract infection.

The prime minister was believed to be suffering from a resurgence of an illness he had two weeks ago, according to his personal doctor.
