The Telangana government is taking steps to prevent scarcity of drinking water in Hyderabad during this summer season, state Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao said today.
Rao held a meeting here with city officials on supply of drinking water, a state government release said.
Adequate water supply is taking place from Godavari and Krishna rivers and the city water board has increased its capacity by 100 mld compared to last year, the release quoted him as saying.
