Trump Silence On Stormy Daniels Is Sign Of Guilt, Former Bill Clinton Lawyer Says
President Donald Trump’s unusual silence in the wake of porn star Stormy Daniels revealing details of their alleged affair on 60 Minutes Sunday is a sign of guilt, according to a former White House special counsel who assisted ex-President Bill Clinton in handling the fallout from his affair with Monica Lewinksy.

“His absence of comment, to me, was a concession to a not very shocking or newsworthy conclusion, which is that he carried on extramarital affairs,” Lanny Davis, now a partner at the law firm Davis Goldberg Galper, told The Washington Post in a report published Monday. “He was silent and wasn’t attacking or criticizing or contradicting her.”
The morning after CBS aired Daniels’ vivid account of her consensual sexual affair with him, the president sent a tweet that presumably referred to Daniels, but did not name nor personally attack her.
“So much Fake News. Never been more voluminous or more inaccurate,” Trump tweeted. “But through it all, our country is doing great!”
Rather than Trump's Twitter account, pointed denials of the relationship have been limited to the president's spokespeople in the White House briefing room over the past two days.

Trump's reaction is a sharp contrast from his typical, fiery reactions to unkind reports and comments.
Trump frequently bashes his foes, including referencing his 2016 presidential election opponent Hillary Clinton as “crooked Hillary,” and her Democratic primary challenger Bernie Sanders as “crazy Bernie.”
Even on matters of global significance, like a possible nuclear attack from North Korea, Trump has been unrestrained in his criticisms. He has called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un a “Little Rocket Man,” and “short and fat.”
Trump has also slammed sexual assault allegations from women including Rachel Crooks, who claimed he grabbed and forcibly kissed her in an office at Trump Tower a dozen years ago.
“A woman I don’t know and, to the best of my knowledge, never met, is on the FRONT PAGE of the Fake News Washington Post saying I kissed her (for two minutes yet) in the lobby of Trump Tower 12 years ago. Never happened!” Trump tweeted last month.
“Why doesn’t @washingtonpost report the story of the women taking money to make up stories about me? One had her home mortgage paid off,” Trump tweeted.
