Cusat offers vacation course

The School of Engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) will conduct a summer vacation course in 3DSMAX and 3D printing for schoolchildren from April 16.

An official release said that students of Classes 8 to 12 could attend the sessions to be held from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.

The highlights of the course are 3D Modelling and Animation, 3D Modelling, Camera, Lights, Materials, Rendering, Animation, and Movie Editing using 3DSMAX, said P.S. Sreejith, course co-ordinator. Call 0484-2862616/9495548058 for details.

Law lectures

The School of Legal Studies at Cusat will organise its public law lectures 2017-18 on the topic ‘Judicial contributions towards the growth of environmental protection in India’ here on Tuesday and Wednesday. A release issued here said that P. Leelakrishnan, noted academician, would deliver the lecture.

P.N. Ravindran, Kerala High Court judge, will inaugurate the programme at 5.30 p.m on Tuesday.
