SURKHET: An 18-year-old girl appearing the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) in Surkhet was found dead this morning at her rented room.

Deceased has been identified as Gaurikala Rokaya, a resident of Sairagaun of Panchapuri Municipality-3. Rokaya, a student of Surya Prakash Secondary School, Palete in the district, was appearing the examinations from a center based in Surkhet Bidya Jyoti Secondary School at Panchapuri Municipality-5 and was found dead at her rented room near the center, the District Police Office, Surkhet confirmed.

Police reached her room after knowing about the incident at around 7:15 am. She seemed normal while attending the Monday’s paper, center superintendent Krishna Prasad Sapkota said. Police found the case unnatural and investigations into it are underway.
