LORA LEE (ELLSWORTH) COOK
Central City

Lora Lee (Ellsworth) Cook, 57, of Central City, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, following a sudden illness in a Cedar Rapids hospital. The family will greet friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at First United Methodist Church, Central City, with the service immediately
following.
Lora is survived by her sons, Brent (Krysta) Fuller, Tony (Morgan) Burnell, Travis Burnell and Austin Cook; five grandchildren, Jason, Mykenah, Brylei, Jayda and Noah; mother, Karen Carpenter; father, Lonnie (Mary Price) Ellsworth; sisters, Dona (Shawn Losch) Farrington and Pam (Chris) Noska; brother, Nick Carpenter; and nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Carpenter; and stepmother, Betty Ellsworth.
Lora was born March 3, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, to
Lonnie Ellsworth and Karen Byers Carpenter. She
graduated from Central City High School in 1979. Lora worked at Noah's Ark Daycare in Central City and MC
Industries in Edgewood. She loved jewelry, quilting and most anything crafty. But more than anything in the world, she adored and loved her four children.
