‘Communal forces can’t wag tail in T.N.’

Stalin exhorts cadre to defeat BJP

Launching a scathing attack against the BJP-led Central government, DMK working president M.K. Stalin on Sunday gave a call at his party’s Erode zonal conference to send it packing.

“We will not allow communalism to rear its head here. So long as we are here, none can wag their tail against the principles of Periyar, Anna and Karunanidhi. If they try to do so, we will cut that tail short.”

Communal forces, who were once shown their place by the Dravidian movement, now dare to ask whether we could oppose Sanskrit or Hindi. The BJP is using money and official power to muzzle dissent. “With the same expectations, they have now turned their attention to Tamil Nadu where the State government is servile,” he charged.
