Transfer row: High Court to hear Rohini's plea today

Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri on Monday sought for an early hearing of her petition challenging the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) order, asking her to give representation to the Chief Secretary against her transfer order. However, the High Court stated that the case will be heard on Tuesday as listed.

Rohini had pushed for an early hearing on the ground that the last date to submit her representation before the chief secretary was Monday, following which a decision will be taken by the government within three days. She sought for early hearing as she feared that there was a likelihood of enforcement of her transfer order with effect from March 26.
