Cape Town - Caster Semenya has been named as the flag bearer for Team South Africa at the opening ceremony of next month's Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Semenya, 27, will again attempt the 800m and 1 500m double at the Gold Coast after falling short at the 2017 IAAF World Championships.
Semenya had to pull out of the 2010 New Dehli Games due to medical grounds and failed to meet the SASCOC's criterion at the 2014 Glasgow Games.
