6.4 magnitude earthquake rattles Indonesia

A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck off the coast of eastern Indonesia's on Sunday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The quake, which was initially reported at a magnitude of 6.5, was centred 138 miles (222 km) northwest of Saumlaki in the A tsunami alert has been issued, the USGS added.

As of now, no casualties or loss of property has been reported.
