A 77-year-old man from Thorold died as a result of being thrown from a motorcycle in a single-vehicle collision Sunday evening in the town of Lincoln.
He was going eastbound on Twenty Mile Road, east of Silverdale Road, when he lost control of the 1994 Honda motorcycle in a curve, Niagara Regional Police Service say.
He was then thrown from the motorcycle when it left the roadway and he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He later died at the hospital.
