But India failed to capitialise on that as Beth Mooney and Villani of Australia shared a century-stand, scored fifties each and put Australia in a strong position in the game. Australia batted brilliantly with the middle order also coming good as they finished with 186 for 5 in the 20 overs against India. It is a must-win game for India as they have lost both their previous two games. The first loss was against Australia and the second was against England on Sunday.
