The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSCPCR) has sought an explanation from the Department of Public Instruction over denial of hall tickets to thousands of students for the SSLC examinations due to shortage of attendance.

This year, as many as 10,867 students did not write the SSLC examinations.
