2018 New York Auto Show: Here’s Your A-Z Guide To Every Car Launch

Drawing world debuts from manufacturers on both sides of the Atlantic, the 2018 New York International Auto Show, or NYIAS for short, is the final major auto show in America for this season. In this guide, we’ll round up all the new cars, world debuts, launches and reports from the show.

International press day will take place on Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29, 2018, when we’ll see all the product announcements, while doors at the Javits Center exhibition halls open to the public from March 30 to April 8, 2018.

As with last year’s event, we’ll have a wave of new crossovers and SUVs taking up the limelight at the 2018 NY Auto Show. These include replacements for the popular Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, Hyundai Santa Fe, Acura RDX, and new introductions such as the Cadillac XT4 and UX compact SUVs, and Jaguar’s pure-electric I-Pace crossover.

Other notable presentations are the new Nissan Altima sedan, Kia’s second attempt at a luxury full-size sedan with the K900, the GMC Sierra pickup truck and numerous North American premieres, including the next Audi A6, Volvo V60 and Mercedes AMG GT4.

A series of concept cars will be vying for your attention, the most important being a study from Genesis, Lincoln’s Aviator SUV and VW’s five-seater Atlas SUV.

All in all, more than 60 cars will have their first encounter with the American public in New York. Bookmark this page and stay tuned as we’ll be updating the NY Auto Show guide daily with all the key new launches, as they’re confirmed.

Note: NC = Not Confirmed, F/L = Facelift

    Missing the Subaru Forester.

  • Andrewthecarguy

Looking forward to Aviator. Hope it previews the next Explorer and hope it is a true midsize luxury (XC-90, X5, ML) player and priced better than the Euros.

    • Autoexperte

Genesis could present an SUV in this size at NYIAS

      • Andrewthecarguy

The way to go I think. I am impressed with some of the design language I have seen from Hyundai SUVs…if they put in a bit more effort I think they’d nail the lux mid-size SUV segment

  • WHAT’S INTERESTING ABOUT THE NY SHOW IS THAT THERE WILL BE A CAR ON THE FLOOR THAT NO ONE IS LOOKING AT BUT UPON CLOSER INSPECTION YOU NOTICE IT’S AN UNSCHEDULED SHOWING. THE NEW BUICK LACROSSE WAS ON DISPLAY A YEAR AHEAD OF TIME. YEARS AGO THE GRAND CHEROKEE WAS ON DISPLAY AGAIN A YEAR BEFORE EXPECTED.

source? highly highly doubt this is true.

      • SOURCE?
        MY MEMORY.

        • pjl35

          hahahahaha. then i call bs.

          • WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU QUESTIONING? THAT I SAW CARS IN THE PAST AT THE CAR SHOW THAT WEREN’T ADVERTISED?

          • pjl35

That you’re the only one who managed to see cars snuck onto a packed auto show floor with tons of press and media, and there are no other records of it besides your memory and CAPS LOCK.

          • BABE MAYBE YOU OUGHT TO DO A LITTLE RESEARCH AS TO WETHER OR NOT CARS ARE EVER PUT ON DISPLAY WITHOUT FANFARE. NOW GO BUG SOMEONE ELSE.

            BYE.

          • pjl35

I asked for proof and you have given me none. And I’m not your babe…

  • Are we gonna see that Lyons supercar with no wiring thing? It still amaze me that the creator think he will be producing it.

  • EM1

what about the Bronco and mini Bronco?

  • samurai

There’s a pretty good chance the 2019 Camaro refresh could be revealed, since new testmules were spotted in the last weeks. But we will see…

  • Harry Nimmergut

Hyundai Tucson F/L. Probably Kia Optima F/L (NC).

  • Harry Nimmergut

    Chevy Malibu F/L?

  • pjl35

“Hyundai-Tucson-11” I think you’ve got a duplicate entry for the Tucson facelift.

  • Harry_Wild

I want to see the Lincoln Aviator!
