Body found in Strathcona County on Saturday

Kim Smith/Global NewsStrathcona County RCMP are investigating after a man’s body was found Saturday around 9 a.m. in a rural area.
Over the weekend, police cruisers were seen blocking off Range Road 213, just off Highway 16.
The road was closed until Sunday around 3:30 p.m.

Kim Smith/Global NewsResidents in the area told Global that a body had been found in a ditch by a neighbour who was riding a bike.
RCMP confirmed Sunday morning that police were investigating a sudden death in the area.

An autopsy has been scheduled for later this week.
