It is only March. So it’s nearly two months since the January transfer window closed and it’s still some time until the summer one opens.

But the rumour mill doesn’t stop for anyone.

Especially during an international break when the tittle-tattle train revs up a gear or two.

And no prizes for guessing who is dominating the landscape like a large dominating the landscape kind of thing.

It’s Mohamed Salah.

But before Liverpool supporters start rolling their eyes and preparing their best vitriol for Real Madrid, the latest rumours have a different message report the Liverpool Echo .

Because it seems Salah isn’t going to Real Madrid this summer. He isn’t going to Barcelona.

In fact, he isn’t going anywhere.

That’s according to our chums at the Mirror , who say Salah has told his friends he will be staying at Liverpool for next season.

The report also says Liverpool are ready to offer the Egyptian a new deal worth £200,000 a week.

Mind you, elsewhere the Mirror also state Emre Can is asking for the same amount to stay at Anfield beyond the end of the season.

Salah or Can on 200 grand a week? Tough one.
