Players Championship 2018 results: Ronnie O’Sullivan to face Shaun Murphy in the final

Only the leading 16 players on the one-year ranking list have qualified for this week’s tournament that has a prize fund of £380,000.
Ronnie O’Sullivan heads the list of star names competing at Venue Cymru in north Wales, while Mark Williams, Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy are all in action.
Ryan Day goes into the tournament as one of the favourites though, having taken victory at the Gibraltar Open earlier this month with a 4-0 win over Cao Yupeng in the final.
The event runs from March 19 to 25 with the winner scooping £125,000.
First round action takes place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
