That famous wink is, of course, from Manikya Malaraya Poovi, the teaser song of the Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love. Priya Prakash Varrier's wink and smile sent the Internet into meltdown mode last month.
Vadodara police have also previously used dialogues from iconic Bollywood films and popular songs to deliver messages on safe driving, drinking responsibly and even police recruitment!

Speaking to The Hindu, Vadodara Police Commissioner Manoj Sashidhar explained that using pop culture references was a deliberate choice.
