5 police personnel injured in clashes over Ram Navami rally

Five police personnel were injured in West Bengal's district today after clashes broke out between two groups over a rally.

In Kolkata, several rallies were organised by the members of the Sangh Parivar, with an estimated 6,000-8,000 people taking part in each one of them.

Colourful processions with saffron flags and photos of Lord Ram were taken out with the activists shouting slogans, hailing Lord Ram.
