Star Wars 9 SHOCK: Luke to return as ‘FRIGHTENING’ Force ghost? Mark Hamill SPEAKS OUT
STAR WARS 8 The Last Jedi’s Mark Hamill has spoken out on the possibility of a Star Wars 9 return for Luke Skywalker as a “frightening” Force ghost.
Having only made the briefest of cameos in The Force Awakens, Luke took a starring role in The Last Jedi.
However one of the final scenes of the film saw him disappear, becoming one with the Force, just like his Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope.
But since the latter returned as a Force ghost in follow-up movies, surely Luke will be back for Star Wars Episode IX?
Speaking with the Radio Times, Hamill revealed he wants more of a horror spin on his spectre.

Hamill said: “Well I thought, if he’s a Force Ghost I’d love to see him used in a way that hasn’t been done before.
“I mean let’s use the word ghost! That implies that it’s frightening.
“What if he… even in some other form, I think it’d be funny… well, I don’t want to give it away.
“I do have ideas; most of them are so terrible that they don’t consider them at all! But like I say, I don’t know if I am going to be back.”
Earlier this month Hamill said: “I refuse to believe that he’s gone.”

The actor joked: ““My theory is he just teleported to somewhere else and left his robe behind.
“He teleported to a nudist colony, that's what I'm hoping.”
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on April 9.
