Bike-sharing model: How wheels are turning on Indian roads

After gaining ground around the world, the bike-sharing model has its wheels on Indian roads. A bike-share scheme, which makes bicycles available for shared use to individuals to solve the problem of last mile connectivity, is operational in roughly 1,000 cities around the world. In India, after the roll-out by mid-sized cities like Mysore and Bhopal, more and more cities are embracing it.
