Eric Magnano joined the Albany team as a commercial banking officer. Magnano has nine years of experience in the financial industry and previously served as commercial credit analyst and cash management associate at NBT Bank.

Maricarmen Lopez Pena, a pediatric rheumatologist, joined the Department of Pediatrics and was also appointed associate professor of pediatrics at Albany Medical College. Pena, who previously served in private practice for 14 years in San Juan, Puerto Rico, focuses her practice on dermatomyositis, uveitis and scleroderma in children and musculoskeletal complaints.

Denise Weaver joined as care links program manager. Weaver, who previously worked for 25 years as a physical therapist, is responsible for providing free, supportive services to senior residents to help them remain independent and in their homes.
Bill Lubin was promoted to runaway and homeless youth program director, responsible for the direct oversight and successful implementation of all programming. Lubin has more than a decade of experience working with youth and families in the foster care system.
