Odisha inks MoU with British Council for cooperation

BHUBANESWAR: The state government on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the British Council for cooperation and collaboration in a wide array of areas including education, skills and culture. It was signed in the presence of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, British High Commissioner Dominic Asquith, members of commonwealth countries and officials of state government and British Council.


The MoU was signed on the occasion of British Council’s 70 years presence in India. It is aimed at strengthening cooperation in a number of fields including English skill education, sports, cultural exchange and investment promotion.
