Ottawa police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a man was shot Saturday afternoon near the city's Chinatown neighbourhood.
The shooting happened at around 4 p.m. inside a home on Anderson Street near Booth Street, officers at the scene told CBC News.
Police said the victim, a 35-year-old man, was shot multiple times and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
In a tweet, Ottawa paramedics said the man was found in cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated.

As of 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the man was in stable condition, police said.
No arrests have been made.
