BJP President Amit Shah today dared the Congress to allow Parliament to function as the government is ready to face any No Confidence Motion.
Addressing the booth committee Presidents of Assam in Guwahati, Mr Shah said, the Congress is not allowing Parliament to run and only creating ruckus.
He also said, while BJP believes in 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas', the Congress' only agenda in North East was Divide and Rule.
Mr Shah asked Congress President Rahul Gandhi, what his party did for Assam during their 10 years rule. He hoped that BJP will win over 21 seats in North East in next year's Lok Sabha polls. The BJP President also said, North East has developed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as he promised in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He said, the Prime Minister has taken special measures to establish peace in North East.
Mr Shah also congratulated Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for taking bold steps against corruption. He said, due to the prompt role of the booth presidents, the BJP had shown good result in Assam, Manipur and Tripura Assembly polls. Addressing the gathering, Mr Sonowal said, the party would work to win the heart of the people of Assam. He urged the party workers to prepare for the Panchyat and Lok Sabha polls. Around 26,000 Booth Committee Presidents of Assam took part in the rally.
