Collector Pravin Kumar on Friday instructed officials to form mobile teams for repair of bore-wells and pipes and mandal-level call centres to address water-supply related grievances.
At a meeting with officials, he reviewed the Summer Action Plan, he said special attention should be paid to rural and Agency areas. All repairs to bore-wells should be completed on a war-footing by the month-end.
At the mandal-level, officials of the Panchayat Raj Department should hold meetings with MPTCs and ZPTCs. Pump operators should be paid wages without arrears.
He enquired about water levels in various reservoirs of GVMC.
Special attention must be paid to prevent contamination of water, he told municipal officials.
