Animesh Kumar appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of India Uniper Power Services (IUPS)

IUPS is a JV between Uniper and India Power. Animesh graduated from IIT Kharagpur and holds an MBA degree from IESE Spain. Before IUPS, Animesh was working for Uniper and E.ON in Germany and has worked on various strategic topics including setting up the Energy Services platform in the US. After spending several years with European energy sector, he strongly believes that India can learn from the European energy market transition. According to him, the power sector has to address technical, engineering questions along with commercial challenges. In all, the common goal has to be to maintain a safe, compliant business which makes money in a sustainable manner. Animesh also has several years of consulting experience in supporting clients across industries and geographies. He has the experience of working in the global setting including countries like USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, China and the Middle East.
