The incident happened in 2014. The girl, who was staying in an orphanage, was raped many times after being physically assaulted and threatened by the 27-year-old stepfather, when she came home during Onam holidays. The court observed that the man, who raped both his stepdaughters, did not deserve any relaxation in the punishment.
