SCR GM inspects Rayanapadu workshop

South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav inspected the wagon workshop at Rayanapadu, and in the review meeting he advised officials to enhance the productivity by hard work and dedication. He announced a cash award of ₹1 lakh for the good work done at the workshop.

Mr. Yadav inaugurated a new bay at the workshop as part of modernisation programme and inaugurated ladies rest room, electric sub station, computerised numerical control (CNC) wheel lathe, knowledge centre for Cartridge Tapered Roller Bearing (CTRB) maintenance equipments and a renovated garden on the premises of workshop.

The General Manager appreciated the work at distributor valve section of air brake system which is totally maintained by women employees.

He announced a cash award of ₹2000 each for all the women employees working in the distributor valve section.

Arjun Mundiya, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, R. Dhananjayulu, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division, S.K. Agarwal, Chief Electrical General Engineer, G.V. Ramana Reddy, Chief Engineer (Construction), Birendra Sinku, Chief Workshop Manager (Rayanapadu) and Hemsingh Banoth, Chief Workshop Engineer, accompanied him.
