Union Cricket beats Satyam Vacation

Pune: Good bowling performances by Hiten Bansode (4-36), Amarjeet Chavan(2-2) and O Venkatesh (2-12) helped Union Cricket Club score an innings and 49-run win over Satyam Vacation for a place in the final of the Trinity Invitational Cricket tournament at KJ Institute Ground here.

Batting first, Union Cricket Club scored 293 runs in 84.4 overs in their first innings and then restricted Satyam Vacation to 102 thanks to some brilliant bowling by Bansode, Chavan and Venkatesh.

In the second innings, Satyam Vacation were bowled out for just 142 runs to hand Union Cricket Club the much-needed win.
