MP woman suicide: Father seeks Scindia's help for justice

The father of a woman, whose was allegedly married to a minister's son, today wrote to Jyotiraditya alleging police were trying to hush up the matter of her suicide.

Chandan Singh Raghuvanshi, the woman's father, in a letter to Scindia, alleged that his daughter committed suicide as her husband, Rampal Singh's son, was planning to marry a second time.

The 28-year-old woman had allegedly committed suicide on March 16.

State Pankaj Chaturvedi, a close aide of Scindia, said the woman's father urged the senior to reach Udaipura, the minister's hometown, to support the deceased's family.
