2019 GMC Acadia, Terrain Add Black Editions

GMC continues to add murdered out special edition models to its lineup.

The GMC Acadia and Terrain are the latest to get the treatment, with Black Edition models available for the 2019 model year. Distinguished by darkened exterior treatments, the Black Editions also include color-matched, chromed, and unique Denali appearances. According to the American automaker, roughly one in five new SUV buyers go out and spend even more money to personalize their new vehicle’s appearance. The new Black Editions address that desire but in a way that comes straight from the factory.

The Black Edition is available on the Terrain SLE and SLT models and adds 19-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, darkened grille insert and black surround, black mirror caps, roof rails, and additional exterior accents, as well as black exterior model and trim badging. It is available in five exterior colors: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Summit White, Graphite Gray Metallic, Satin Steel Metallic and, new for 2019, Sedona Metallic.

The Acadia Black Edition is only available on the SLT and includes 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with black accents, black grille insert and black surround, black headlight and tail light details, and similar black mirror caps, roof rails, and exterior accents. The 2019 GMC Acadia Black Edition can be had in Ebony Twilight Metallic, Summit White, White Frost Tricoat, and two colors that are new for 2019, Dark Sky Metallic and Smokey Quartz Metallic.

Look for the Black Editions to join the lineup this summer.
