Avengers Infinity War directors reveal ONLY way to defeat Thanos: Did you guess already?

How can anyone stand against the Mad Titan?

In fact, how can even a team of the galaxy's most powerful heroes hope to stand again him?

In a revealing new interview the Russos lay out just how impossible it will be to bring down a being who "doesn't have a weakness."

And yet, there is one chink in his armour, his one Achilles heel and we had already spotted the clues in the most recent trailer.

In a major new Infinity War feature in Empire magazine, the directors lay out the titanic task facing the Avnegers and tehir allies.

Joe Russo said; " He's an incredibly difficult character to beat. He's stronger than the Hulk. He's more like Genghis Khan. He's a force of nature. He has a spiritual wisdom well beyond all teh other characters. He is a conqueror of worlds.

"He doesn't have a weakness and that is what makes him so threatening."

Russo added: "You have to find vulnerabilities for characters of that level of strength. 

"Look for their emotional and physical life – that's where we figure out how we make those characters crack."

The trailer already gave a huge clue. After endless scenes of Thanos displaying his strength and menace, there was one shocking moment of vulnerability.

Thanos was shown with a young Gamora.

His children Gamora and Nebula may hate him, but Thanos sees himself as a proud father who did everything he could to make his family strong. Gamora and her sister are the heart of his "emotional life."

The Russos have already admitted that Gamora has one of the most interesting story arcs in Avengers 3. Somehow, the sisters are the key to defeating the undefeatable.
