Colonie police seek help identifying bank robbery suspect
COLONIE – A robbery took place at the NBT Bank in Colonie on Friday morning, police say.
At around 11:39 a.m., a male entered NBT Bank on 703 Troy-Schenectady Road and passed a note to a teller, with which the teller complied. There was no weapon displayed. The suspect exited the bank with an amount of cash, walking Southwest through the parking lot.
The suspect was described as male, around 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue camouflage hoodie jacket with a large Under Armor emblem and dark-colored pants. He was wearing eye glasses and hand longer hair.
Police said a 2005 to 2010 maroon Jeep Commander may have been involved in the robbery. There was also a tan S.U.V. observed in the area at the time of the incident.
