Two private member resolutions moved by Opposition members today fell short of votes in the Delhi Assembly, dominated by the ruling

The first resolution moved by of Opposition Vijender Gupta sought "sincere" implementation of schemes for labourers of the city.

said the government monitored the schemes and it was determined not to allow the wastage of even a single paisa for the workers.

"We have sought suggestions from everyone. Even you can give suggestion about welfare measures for the workers," he said in response to the resolution passed by Gupta.

The resolution was turned down by voice vote.

The second resolution was moved by MLA Jagdish Pradhan. He wanted the government to table the report of 5th for the national capital in the House.
