The much touted Transfer Act for the State Government employees came into existence from Wednesday as the State Assembly passed it after the Governor’s consent.
A total of 12 Acts came into existence on the day which included Uttarakhand Residential University (amendment) Act, Uttarakhand Shop and Establishment Act, Uttarakhand Sarai Act, Uttar Pradesh Zamindari abolition Act 1959 (amendment) act, Uttarakhand Ayurveda University ( amendment) Act and Sardar Bhagwan Singh University Act. In addition to them, a total of 12 Bills were tabled in the House on the day which included the Uttarakhand excise Act 2018 (amendment) and Uttarakhand Bovine Breeding Act 2018.
