Neighbours spoilers: Steph Scully exit CONFIRMED? Carla Bonner drops BIG hint
NEIGHBOURS fans could be about to say goodbye to Steph Scully after the stalwart Australian soap actress Carla Bonner teased to her Twitter fans that the end is nigh for the beloved character.
Steph (played by Carla Bonner) has been on Neighbours since 1999.
However, the 45-year-old has now joked she is “weaning” fans off the stalwart Ramsey Street resident.
One keen viewer on Twitter demanded to know why Carla has been in fewer scenes of late.
They posted: “Hey lovely, hope you had a lovely weekend? It seems to me that we don’t see much of Steph in Neighbours? And I really loved the relationship with her and Mark shame it ended xxxx.”
Carla jokingly replied: “You’re being weaned!”
Instantly, Neighbours fans emerged in their droves and begged the actress not to leave the soap.
One wrote: “Nooooo!! You’re one of my absolute favourites. I cried so much when Steph left in 2010, Neighbours isn’t the same without you!!”
A second gushed: “Omg! I have no words! This cannot be happening! And just last night we were saying how much we wanted Charlie back full time!! Good luck in the future, Carla! I just hope we see you back on our screens soon!!”

A fourth added: “As a fan, I’m saddened to hear, as I love your work on Neighbours, but I wish you best in your future endeavours.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative of Neighbours for comment.
In recent months, Steph has been involved in a love triangle with Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) and Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley).

Steph was getting along nicely with the former vicar, but his flame for Paige never died out.
She was left heartbroken, but understanding, as Jack explained he couldn’t be with her.
With her now seemingly not having any major involvement in any storylines, could this spark an exit from now on?
Neighbours airs weekdays on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and is repeated at 5.30pm.
