Rajnath for special mechanism to reduce recruitment delays in paramilitary

on Thursday called for initiation of special mechanisms for reducing delays and fast-tracking recruitment process in the paramilitary forces.

Chairing a high-level meeting here to review administrative issues of paramilitary forces that include Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Assam Rifles, and Sashastra Seema Bal, he also directed improvements in housing and medical facilities to personnel, especially those serving in the remote and far-flung areas.

He also called for making available at least Rs 1 crore fund from various sources for the families of those personnel who made "supreme sacrifice in the line of active duty".

An said that too stock of the recruitment and promotion procedures of the forces.
