SANDWICH – Indian Valley Community Band invites the community to its annual Spring Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the Sandwich Opera House, 140 E. Railroad St.
It was 32 years ago that this multi-generational group of volunteer musicians performed their first concert, and the tradition continues today. This is a free concert – no tickets are needed.
Directed by Richard Hart, the concert will feature a variety of popular music suitable for all ages, including some favorite numbers from past concerts.
The Opera House is handicappedaccessible, with a walking ramp just west of the front door and elevator inside that will take patrons to the refinished audience seats on the second floor. Concertgoers are welcome to stay for a punch and cookie reception after the performance.
